Principal and Head of Business & Valuation Department of the Absolute Value, Nelson Choi
Mr. Nelson Choi is (i) a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, (ii) a member of Certified Practising Accountants Australia, (iii) a member of Chartered Global Management Accountant and (iv) a member of International Association of Certified Valuation Specialists. Mr. Nelson Choi obtained Master of Law (Chinese Business Law) in Hong Kong in 2017. He obtained a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) in Australia in 2003 and further studied Postgraduate Diploma of Accounting in Australia in 2005.
Mr. Nelson Choi currently is working as full time in Absolute Value and leading a professional team to carry out relevant professional jobs. Prior to join this company, Nelson Choi was (i) a financial controller of a listed company in Hong Kong, (ii) a chief financial officer of a company in Melbourne, Australia, (iii) a professional senior auditor in PwC in Melbourne and (iv) a senior audit manager in the audit department of HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng Limited (the “HLB”) in Hong Kong and involved in the professional jobs such as IPO, substantial acquisition and disposal, financial due diligence, statutory audit, internal control review and valuation works. He has worked in HLB for more than ten years.
Chief Advisor of Business & Valuation Department of the Absolute Value, Alan Au
Mr. Alan Au has obtained a bachelor’s degree of arts in economics in 2005, a bachelor of accounting in 2006 and a master of accounting from the Florida International University in 2007. Mr. Au also graduated from City University of Hong Kong in 2018 with a Juris Doctor degree. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and a certified public accountant in the State of Florida, the United States of America. Mr. Au has been elected as a council member of the HKICPA in 2018. He was an independent non-executive director of a GEM board listed company. He also has many years of experience in the field of investment, accounting and company secretarial. Before joining the Company, he was a company secretary and the head of the corporate affairs department of a main board listed company.
